History of the Fire Department

On July 13th 1886, The San Andreas Fire & Rescue Department was commissioned by the Blaine County Department of Public Safety to be the principal responding agency for all Calls for Service that are Fire or Medical in nature. The Department of Public Safety had issues in the past with volunteer responders and the availability of said responders.

After the state switched to Career operations, The Fire Department took over the Contract for the states Air Ambulance Service, allowing for a standardized response. The San Adreas Fire Department has approximately 15 stations located throughout the State of Los Santos. Each Station is Capable of holding a minimum of 2 personnel and a maximum of 5 personnel. All stations are capable of housing standard aparatus.
